Hello, I’m Chloë

Nearly 5 years ago I decided that it was time for a new challenge...

So I booked a flight and moved from London to Berlin.
As my Grandma says, “You only regret the things that you don't do”!
And of course I loved it!

This sort of attitude has most recently led to me building on my years of Graphic Design experience by successfully completing the UX course with CareerFoundry.

Like my move, I made the decision, I committed myself to the process and I found success once again with this new challenge.

For me it was the logical move which would help take me on to the next level, especially as I'm driven by user-centric design and intrigued by human behaviour - whether that's reviewing the onboarding process of a new app or watching the Japanese reality show Terrace House.

More on my career journey

From Agency to a Start-Up Company to becoming an In-House Designer I have taken my opportunities and developed as an effective communicator and resourceful problem solver.

My first job out of Art School at Havas took me from Intern to Art Director, increasingly responsible for the conceptualisation of entire campaigns.

I'll never forget the hours spent in small rooms drawing all over huge pieces of paper, developing ideas, usually working closely with a copywriter. This experience set me up to be ready with new ideas and know how to develop them.

Plus, how to remember 15 people’s tea orders!

While at Havas I also built up my pitching skills, taking on the presentation of the creative product to New Business Clients, whether that was Deutsche Bank, Arcadia or Manchester University.

Whoever the client we had to showcase our work with confidence.

Next I moved into the Start-up scene in Berlin, joining conichi. Having the only creative role in the company I worked closely with all the teams to transform their brand fragments into a cohesive and coherent corporate identity.

I learnt to collaborate with the Marketing, Sales and Product teams, to produce a brand that worked across all platforms.

I also grew in confidence, guiding others through my decisions and incorporating constructive feedback.

I was then very excited to join a much larger team at Delivery Hero, working across multiple global brands. This time the projects were much more complex with multiple stakeholders, so my organisational and communication skills accelerated even further, along with my design knowledge, aided by the exceptional designers around me.

So, if you'd like to chat about Terrace House or anything else, please get in touch!
